The Albuquerque Coin Club meet on the last Monday of each month except for the month of December.

Meetings begin at 7 p.m. at the MCM Elegante' 2020 Menaul, NE (corner of Menaul and University).

The Albuquerque Coin Club was established in May of 1953.

Since then we have met monthly to learn about coin collecting and to share our information with other collectors.

Education & communication with fellow collectors are the most important features of our club.

Although the name says Coin Club, our members collect a broad range of Numismatic items.

Ancient Coins, Banknotes, US Coins, World Coins, Medals, Stock Certificates, and Primitive Money are only a few of the items collected by our members.

The Albuquerque Coin Club will benefit both the novice and the advanced collector thru our many programs designed to assist all collectors.

We have a monthly newsletter about club activities, we have a Library of over 350 numismatic books & DVDs that are available for members to borrow.

We also sponsor two coin shows each year.

There is a very active Young Numismatist program for youngsters where they learn about all aspects of coin collecting.

People collect coins for many reasons.

It is sometimes the beauty or artistic qualities of the coins, but usually an interest develops about the history of the period, or the history of the coin itself and how it was used.

Whatever your reason for collecting, you will find others who share your passion for coin collecting in our club.

We try to keep the meetings informative, but, informal and friendly.

Questions are welcomed, and we try to accommodate all levels of collectors.
